Michael T. Murdock is the Founder, Managing Partner, and CEO of Claims Consulting Partners, LLC. He is an accomplished claims executive and consultant with more than 40 years of property and casualty insurance industry experience and is widely recognized for his expertise in claims management, claims operations, litigation management, reserve oversight, and organizational leadership.

Mr. Murdock’s experience includes leadership roles as an adjuster, claims manager, executive, and Chief Claim Officer for insurance companies, reinsurers, risk management organizations, and third-party administrators (TPAs). Throughout his career, he has successfully led and transformed claims operations, improved financial performance, strengthened governance and oversight, and delivered strategic consulting services to a broad range of insurance organizations, including insurers, reinsurers, captives, risk retention groups (RRGs), risk pools, self-insured programs, and TPAs.

Mr. Murdock holds a Master of Science degree in Insurance Management from Boston University. He is a published author and industry thought leader, having written many articles on claims best practices, technical claims handling, claims operations, reserve management, expense control, litigation management, and claims technology.

He is also the author of several industry publications, including P&C Insurance Claims Management and Claims Operations: A Practical Guide.

Drawing upon his extensive insurance and consulting experience, Mr. Murdock has provided advisory and consulting services on a wide range of claims-related engagements, including claims operational reviews, claims audits, TPA due diligence and oversight, claims leakage reviews, litigation management assessments, reserve reviews, and claims management consulting.
